Former Buffalo Bills Player Allegedly Pursues and Threatens Teenage Pranksters with a Gun in Tennessee Neighborhood

A former Buffalo Bills player is accused of pulling a gun on teens who were pranking homes in his Tennessee neighborhood.

Jimmy Robinson Jr., 43, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, on October 3.

Mt. Juliet police said officers responded to a report of an armed man Thursday night about 9.35pm and arrived to find several people standing in the residential road.

Jimmy Robinson Jr., 43, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly pulled a gun on teenagers who were knocking on doors and running away in his neighborhood

It was determined that the incident started because a group of teenagers had been loudly knocking on home doors and then running away, the Lebanon Democrat reported.

Robinson, one of the neighborhood residents and a former Buffalo Bills linebacker, was said to have gotten into his car and then driven around to look for the car that the teens had been riding around in.

Upon tracking down the teens several streets away, Robinson allegedly pulled his handgun and ordered two of the five teens out of the car at gunpoint.

It’s unclear who called authorities and how the confrontation ended.

The knocking and running prank was said to have been pulled on previous occasions in the neighborhood.

Police said that Robinson got into his car and chased down the teen prankster when they fled, catching up to them several streets away before confronting them

Robinson – a Nashville Fire Department EMT – was charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He has posted bail and has been released from custody.

One of the teens involved in the incident was charged with trespassing on Robinson’s property and James Davison, 20, of Mt. Juliet, was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Nashville Fire Department, which is conducting an internal investigation.
